The 31st and 21st Capilano Scouts went to
Shadow Lake for their winter camp.
Our suggestion to go down to the lake resulted in the obligatory
snowball fight where the Scouters laid seige to the Scouts under the
large A-Frame.
It reached -7 degrees during the night - a mild temperature for
a winter camp, but that didn't deter Scouter Bruce from bivouacking
with his tarp made from parachute material, a light ground sheet
and a somewhat heavier sleeping bag.
